Stamford Classic Car Show

On August 29th, the city of Stamford hosted a classic car show. The event was rescheduled a week later due to Tropical Storm Henri. As a headliner to the event, the organizers recognized veterans form WWII, the Korean War and the Vietnam War. 
 
Lawrence Marvin of the Jewish War Veterans was honored as the WWII veteran and his recognition was accepted by his son Jeffrey. Koran War Veteran James Lyles of VFW Springdale Post 9617 and Vietnam War Veteran Chris Munger of the Marine Corps League Lock City detachment was also recognized. Chris Munger read the names of the 13 service members who died in the terrorist attack at the Kabul airport.
