Originally founded in 1899 as the American Veterans of Foreign Service, the Veterans of Foreign Wars continues to be a voice for returning and currently deployed service members and their families. Complete the form with the fullest amount of information you know about your military service. The Service officers can assist you, or you can send the completed SF 180 to:

If the military member was discharged, deceased or retired after 2004, their records are with their specific branch of Service. Send the completed form to the specific Branch Personnel Center.
